Divisional Facilitation Council Meeting Held Under Chairmanship of Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant

Lucknow: A meeting of the Divisional Facilitation Council (DFC) was held at the Export Bhawan Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant. The meeting focused on the review and resolution of pending cases related to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Lucknow division.

The meeting was attended by Member Secretary and Additional Commissioner (Industries), Lucknow Division, Kanchan Subodh, Member/Representative of Laghu Udyog Bharati, Arun Bhatia, along with parties concerned in the listed references.

During the meeting, pending MSME-related cases were reviewed in detail, with special emphasis on speedy and effective redressal of issues faced by entrepreneurs. The Divisional Commissioner directed that all cases presented before the Council must be disposed of strictly as per rules, in a transparent and time-bound manner, ensuring that entrepreneurs do not face unnecessary delays. He reiterated that timely payment to MSME units is a top priority of the government, and negligence at any level in this regard will not be tolerated.

The Commissioner also instructed concerned departments to work in close coordination and conduct regular reviews of pending matters to ensure their early resolution.

As per the proceedings, 11 references were taken up for conciliation, while 16 cases were presented for disposal through arbitration. The Council heard all matters and issued necessary directions to the parties concerned. In addition, 13 new references were submitted for registration before the Council.

During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner expressed strong displeasure over delays in one particular case. He directed the Member Secretary and Additional Commissioner (Industries), Kanchan Subodh, to conduct an internal inquiry, fix responsibility, and submit a detailed report on the matter.

The meeting reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to protecting the interests of MSMEs and ensuring a responsive, efficient, and entrepreneur-friendly grievance redressal mechanism in the region.
